Pop up shops are perhaps not a new concept, but the trend is fast growing and the style of Pop Ups are becoming more innovative and exciting.  Bunbury is proud to boast such innovation in the form of a new Pop Up at ‘The Darkroom Concept’ in Victoria Street.  Since first opening it’s doors, Jordan has added a whole new dimension to the Marlston end of Victoria Street with an awesome shop fit out, unique global brands and a concept that takes retail to a whole new level of experience and diversity. This includes his support of local and state artists where he showcased the work of Jodee Knowles and supported Re-Discover earlier this year.

“The Darkroom Concept” window lends itself perfectly to Bunbury’s latest Pop Up which is “Cuts by D”. Dino is a local stylist specialising in men’s hair.  While working a mobile business he considered the idea of testing the water for a more permanent place to practise his trade.  As Jordan’s stylist, and as the “Darkroom Concept” stocked many of the products that Dino used, it was a natural progression to try the Pop Up in a space that lent itself to the modern and creative flair that epitomises both Dino and the space.

In a few short days business is steadily growing and word is spreading. Stylo is so excited to see this take off. It is an example of how a town can take on personality through forward thinking and stylish young people that use creativity to utilise a space.
